Service for the Adventure Pin

Over the last few weeks we have been working on a few tasks.  One of them was painting the Cherrington's fence. Here are a few pictures from the adventure...

High Adventure Requirements

As was mentioned in our parents meeting there are a few items needed for our High Adventure.

1. $50 for food and our Class B Uniform this season
2. The Health Form filled out entirely, doctor's visit required.  You can find a copy by clicking here. 
3. The participant agreement for Whitewater Rafting. You can find a copy on page 20 of the Leader's Guide here.

We plan on leaving the church at 7:00 am on Monday, June 11.  We will return on Thursday, June 14th. Our schedule includes:

Monday - Drive to Moab.  Tour Arches National Park. Camp out in Entrada.
Tuesday - Mountain Biking in the Moab area.
Wednesday - Rafting in the Colorado River
Thursday - Break camp, tour our way home

Monday Lunch: Sandwiches, chips
Monday Dinner: Foil Dinners
Tuesday Breakfast: Mountain Man Breakfast w/ tortillas
Tuesday Lunch: Hotdogs
Tuesday Dinner: Spaghetti
Wednesday Breakfast: Oatmeal
Wednesday Lunch: Pancakes
Wednesday Dinner: Beef Stew
Thursday Breakfast: Muffins
Thursday Lunch: Sandwiches

Parents Meeting

We will be holding a Meeting to make sure we all understand our high adventure program this summer.

Our meeting will be on Tuesday May 15. We will be meeting at the church at 7 pm. There is an opening exercises meeting at 7, and we will gather in the Relief Society room after the initial opening.
